KPSquare, Echoes of The North

Located inside the Anzac Recreation Centre at 237 Stony Mountain Road, Echoes of the North by KPSquared Innovative Child Care is a warm, community-centered child care program inspired by connection, exploration, and the spirit of the North. Open Monday through Friday from 6:00am–6:00pm, our centre provides dependable, high-quality care for families while creating meaningful experiences that help children grow with confidence and curiosity.

Echoes of the North was designed to reflect the strength of community, the beauty of nature, and the importance of belonging. Through play-based learning, hands-on discovery, creative expression, and relationship-focused care, children are encouraged to explore their world in a safe and nurturing environment where every child feels seen, valued, and supported.

Being located within the Anzac Recreation Centre allows children to feel deeply connected to their community while benefiting from engaging spaces that encourage movement, imagination, social connection, and active learning. Our educators create thoughtful programming that supports emotional wellbeing, independence, creativity, and whole-child development at every stage.

Children's play area with a small wooden bed shaped like a house with white drapes, a toddler sleeping in a miniature bed nearby, surrounded by toys, plants, and wall decorations.

“Families are society’s most adaptable institution – a trait that is rooted in their constant need to adjust to ever-evolving environments. As organizations of all kinds consist of diverse family members, all of whom face unique realities, flexibility is key to the resiliency of families, the labour force and economy, and our greater society.”

— Sara MacNaull, Vanier Institute of the Family
