KP² Innovative Child Care to invite you to be part of our first Movie in the Park community event on Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Fort McMurray. Timeline is from 4pm-8pm, with the movie starting. 

This free, family-focused event is being created to bring our community together for an evening of connection, fun, and entertainment. Families will enjoy children’s activities; blow-up games, bubble area, face painting & glitter tattoos, local vendors, food trucks, community organizations, and an outdoor movie under the stars.

We’re expecting 200-300+ attendees, making this a wonderful opportunity to showcase your business, connect with local families, and be part of a meaningful community event.

Our long-term vision is to grow Movie in the Park into an annual “Backpack Full” initiative, where every child attending receives a backpack filled with school supplies before heading back to school. By participating this year, you’ll be helping us build what we hope becomes one of Fort McMurray’s signature family events.
